Program Overview:
The overall goal of this activity is to familiarize ophthalmologists with the different types of surgical options available to a patient needing cataract surgery and explains the procedure and possible outcomes of a sequential surgery.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Describe the different types of surgical options available to a patient.
  • List the reasons for recommending a sequential surgery.
  • Explain when doing a DSEK procedure would be necessary.

The Wills Eye Institute is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
