The overall goal of this activity is to familiarize ophthalmologists with the different types of surgical options available to a patient needing cataract surgery and explains the procedure and possible outcomes of a sequential surgery.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the different types of surgical options available to a patient.
- List the reasons for recommending a sequential surgery.
- Explain when doing a DSEK procedure would be necessary.
