This video describes a PDR membrane peel in a patient with diabetic retinopathy and fibrovascular epiretinal membrane over the macula following a vitrectomy. The use of the vitrector to segment the bands of tissue to relieve the multidirectional traction and remove residual tissues. Types of new surgical instruments are described.
