Description:
This video describes how to implant a crystalens lens including the specifications of this procedure, how to dissect the nucleus and the safety and efficiency of the device. The capsularexis is the most important part of this procedure, as well as a comprehensive cortical cleanup to reduce fibrosis. Placing sutures at the end of the surgery to maintain refractive outcomes and stabilize the lens is shown and the addition of atropine is recommended post-operatively.
