Once registration is completed, you will receive a password via email. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password which will be also be used to track your CME certificates if requested. For those visitors who opt to subscribe to the Wills Eye Knowledge Portal, additional information will be collected, such as credit card number, security code, and home address, in order for our financial partner to confirm credit card payment.

You transmit all such information AT YOUR OWN RISK. However, once we receive your transmission, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our servers.
The Wills Eye Knowledge Portal will collect IP addresses for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating aggregate data regarding the use of our site. IP addresses will not be linked to personalized identifiable data.
The Wills Eye Knowledge Portal may offer free electronic newsletters to users upon registration now or in the future. Upon registration, users can opt in or out for this service. Unsubscribing to the email newsletter will be possible at any time at the bottom of the email.
Continuing Medical Education
We are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The ACCME requires that we submit aggregated data about CME participants and the CME activities they have completed. When registering for a CME activity, you will be requested to enter your name, email address and mailing address. In order to receive a CME certificate, you will be asked to complete a post-test questionnaire and an evaluation. We are required by ACCME to maintain your personal records and certificate, which you may request, for up to six years.
Use on Registration and Subscription Information
In order to review the users of the Wills Knowledge Portal and continually improve the site, we will be evaluating data about visitors. This data will be aggregated, without identifying information.
The Wills Eye Hospital is committed to protecting the privacy of children. This Wills Eye Knowledge Portal is not designed or intended for children or teenagers under the age of 18.
California Privacy Rights
A California resident who has provided personal information to a business with whom he/she has established a business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes ("California customer") is entitled to request information about whether the business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. In general, if the business has made such a disclosure of personal information, upon receipt of a request by a California customer, the business is required to provide a list of all third parties to whom personal information was disclosed in the preceding calendar year, as well as a list of the categories of personal information that were disclosed.
